Martha C. Moreira Lima

Brazil and Greece

Brazilian interpreter based in Europe. Martha's working languages are Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, and German. Martha graduated as an actress and finished her Conference Interpreting Techniques course at the University of Westminster in London in 1993, and has been active as an interpreter since then. Martha's 30 years of experience allow her to interpret for a wide range of clients from heads of state and cinema festivals to oil companies and NGOs. She also taught interpreting techniques at the University of Porto, Portugal. Her experience as an actress and the fact that she was educated, lived and worked in various countries allows her to have a fluent and colourful delivery and general culture.

Natalia Karlina

Russia and the UK

Native Siberian/Russian, London-based conference and business interpreter, translator, and editor working between English and Russian and from Spanish into Russian. With 15+ years of experience, Natalis has got the best of both worlds – first studying interpreting and translation and working in Russia and then moving to England where she has been working since 2015 and got her master’s degree in conference interpreting. As a business interpreter, Natalia has been helping companies establish international relations, build trust with foreign partners, and grow their business. Her other specialisms include NGOs, legal, immigration public sector, medical, sustainability, and technical.

Alberto Goyena

Spain and France

Born in New Delhi to Spanish and Brazilian parents and based in France since 2024, with a PhD in Anthropology and over 19 years of experience in conference interpreting. His work spans sports, health and safety projects for large countries, youth empowerment, and education programs in Brazil, Haiti, Colombia, France, and Burkina Faso. Alberto provides seamless communication through a keen ear for accents and cultural nuances. Committed to leveraging arts and innovative alternatives for a better world, he is at his best performance when contributing to meaningful global change and fostering a more equitable society, delivering interpreting that is both just and careful.

Olivia Lyu

China

Seasoned Chinese-English interpreter and translator with 10 years of experience. She studied translation and interpreting at the top schools in China before furthering her education at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) at Monterey, one of the best interpreting schools in the US. After completing her studies in conference interpreting and simultaneously interpreting for  1,000+ assignments, she now runs her own company in Shanghai. Olivia is a polyglot – fluent in Spanish, conversant in basic Korean, and currently learning Arabic. She believes in understanding cultures through languages and ultimately aims to become an open-minded and insightful global communicator.
